01 3.2cl type s

hey guys, what would you think a 01 cl type s, silver black leather, with 42k miles is worth if it is a certified acura from a dealership? Please let me know asap, in the market for a new car!

What is the dealer asking for? 42k is alot of miles. I would be worried about the tranny but not too much since its certified.

42 isn't that much, most trannies fail earlier than that. I would say prolly low 20's.

Tranny is warranted for 100,000 miles.

Trade in - $16,000 to $18,500
Private Party - $18,000 to $21,000

I was offered $23K for my 01' CL-S with 17K miles last year from an Audi dealer....noe my car has 22K miles and I could get $20,500 from a Nissan dealer.

Yeah price sounds reasonable, especially if it is certified from Acura.
Can check out www.Edmunds.com they even give certified pricing for used cars.
