I am helping my friend remove his Type S badge and 3.2 CL off of the back of his car. We will leave the A C U R A on and the Acura symbol.

I love the name "Type S" but I think the badge is ugly. Is it just me or do you guys feel the same way?

 

it looks fine to me.... the new tl type-s badge is nice, but too big and it doesn't look great on our cars

i don't think it's ugly...it's a RED S taht symbolizes Type-S...looks good to me, mabe if you somehow like the new Type-S emblem you can put taht on

I also would go type-s badgeless(along w/ 3.2cl) just makes the trunk look better imo. I'm still wondering if i'll ever debadge the a c u r a. Cant decide if i like it sooo much that i should.

Has anyone tried any different placements on the trunk with the type-s badge other than the places we've already done? I was trying to think how it would look if the badge was directly below the ( /\ ) symbol, or centered on the bottom of the trunk, or bottom corner. Maybe beside one of the front fenders?

yeah the trunk looks way better with the "3.2cl typeS" taken off of the top corner. more symmetry. and without the A C U R A, the trunk is too bulky imo. i put a type s emblem i bought in the lower right corner like the guy above, better spot? who knows...

then my buddies saw it and were like where the NOS sticker? they didnt know it was form the acura factory, so back to original question, it can be kinda cheesy, but to us, its almost a cult.

I'm getting A-Spec badging for my Legend. BUT its b/c it stands for Alperovich-Spec! since I've built my motor for it, painting it myself, and have plans laid out for building a custom F/I (S/C) setup for her, so once its all done, then do it. oh also i'm doing custom interior stuff plus she has a tuned racing suspension and I've put the last 2 years of my Alperovich blood sweat and tears into her.

 

i better see this thing tearing up lake cook road when im at work at northbrook court mall lol.

and for the black guy who likes chickens or w/e, yes i have a P, and the badging only went on after i got comptech headers and CAI and am then a tiny bit quicker than an S...
