I have a mortgage, wife, kid, employee...I feel you. But my and your budgetary restrictions are independent of what is a proper price for this part.

I am able to make money because I don't send these to China and have them made for $35 each yet need to buy 2000 of them. I have local suppliers that like me and will make parts for a reasonable (reasonable /= cheap) cost where I can supply the parts to you for a reasonable price.

I COULD make you a cheap one, but its not going to happen because I don't want that association with my business. You'll goto ebay for that. That's why ebay is there IMO

i'd be in for a $200 FG piece provided that it's not ugly .. how 'serious' are you in manufacturing these marcus?
I can't speak for them really...first I have to suggest that ebay fees are ridiculous. Add those to paypal fees and I am sure he's not making much.

At $199 I can make it. I've been in biz for now my 8th year. Trust me if I can't do it for this I wouldn't. BTW, $199 is only for the first 10 people. If I can get 10 peeps (already have 3 prepaid people on the 2g TL version which people have not even seen yet) then I am for sure making this!

It never ceases to amaze me. People whine no one makes things for our cars and when someone not only offers to make something but gives people a choice as to what they are going to have made people complain.

Wow, just wow.

well the only thing the sarona has going for it now is exclusivity.. it's also a fg piece..

okay, i am gonna prepay you for a CL one, but i'm assuming you do NOT want us to join the TL groupbuy right? (also assuming the TL and CL glass are not the same)..

If you cant afford it, or dont want to pay that much, look elsewhere.

Marcus, let me know when you are ready to take preorders.

Ill take mine painted NBP, I decided against the carbon fiber for the roof spoiler. Please please please put some thought into making a carbon fiber trunk lip spoiler (one that is slightly larger then the M5 lip).

well i like the 8th one because it will be a close match up with my spoiler and i dont care about CF look or it being painted. i can do that when they repaint my whole car. so what am i looking at in price shipped to 32547? (when this all does get figured out)

I need ten commitments. We already have the TL one in design now (as of today). So you'll get an idea of the direction we are going in.

FG and CF are available, as well as painting services. I am thinking I would blend the style 1 and 7 together since those are the most popular. Take the 7 and lay it at just a bit flatter angle. Not as flat as 1, but definitely a slightly downward slope. The TL spoiler is going to be pretty level. The more square 4-dr design works with that. The swoopy-coupey CL I think benefits from a design that lays just a bit closer to the glass.

I am sorry I just don't feel the 8-9 designs. Sonic the hedgehog is so 90's

yeah if you can get a pic of a sketch or something that would be nice so i can atleast see it so i can picture how it would look with the m3 spoiler. But from what i can tell from the explanation it should look good with it. But its looking like ill probably be keeping my name on the list either way hehe i can always change the m3 spoiler to an m5 if it is better

The CF should be more rigid then the FG. But either the FG is thin or theres going to be alot of heavy wet snow on the spoiler to do any damage.

There would have to be so much snow you'd have a lot of other things to worry about. Strength is not going to be any sort of concern with either material.
