01-03 CL Roof Spoiler Project Poll

Alright, we've polled, test fitted, and photoshopped this example of how the spoiler is going to look:

The only real revisions we want to make are:
1- The images are of a TL spoiler chopped to fit the CL. Obviously a perfect fit is part of our agenda.
2- Have the profile dip down a bit in the middle to give it a "kicked up" look, without making it stand too high off the glass.
3- 3M double tape will be included and pre-applied to the spoiler, as will alcohol swabs to prep the glass surface for maximum stick-age.

Anyone interested in getting this spoiler or one very similar to it we will be taking paypal deposits of $100 to paypal@heeltoeauto.com

thanks for making this poll marcus!!

6, 7 or 8 for the CL.. it's a bit rounder than the TL so a rounder wing would fit the lines better, imo

they all look pretty good me personally i don't like the sarona one at all

I voted for 7 I like how it almost follows the roof line so its hard to tell if its stock or not but it look like its carbon fiber which i don't really like but for the style it looks the best

We are not new to making CF anf FG parts....you won't need to worry about quality at all.

Introductory price on the FG is $199 and paint is $50.

i like 7 alot but with that being said...i wouldn't buy it...why does it have to cost $250 for a piece of fiberglass...how much is the sarona one?? I think the cl looks great with a roof spoiler...i just wish there was an affordable one...

The Sarona is around the same price, plus when you find places that sell them they charge a flat rate of $50 for shipping.

How much for the CF version?

This is the cheapest I found the Sarona for:

http://www.octanemotorsports.com/pro...900#googlebase

And shipping is a flat $50, so thats $289 for it.

It retails for $299.99 from Sarona.

In all honesty, I am surprised you bought a CL and didn't go for a 1st gen Cavalier or something.

I mean, you could have gotten basically the same shape car for thousands less.

I'm mostly joking here. I understand if it is out of your budget. But $250 for a high end US made fiberglass part including factory quality paint is a great price. Don't dumb it down to "a piece of fiberglass." It's not just a piece of fiberglass. It's a boxed in and custom molded part that fits the contours of the car perfectly, formed in a vacuum mold.

Look at the "detailed images" on this wing we make...

i hear ya bro... but some guys have a mortgage, wife, kids and bills so unfortunately i really can't drop $300 on a "custom molded part that fits my car perfectly" whenever it comes out ...with that being said i'm curious how you are making any money on such an advanced product...i mean seriously dude... what is your net gonna be on each unit?? can't tell me its gonna cost you $200 to manufacturer, paint and sell a fiberglass roof spoiler...i'm not trying to pick a fight and wish you much success in your business endeavors...i'm sure the finished product is gonna be really nice...all i'm saying is i wish someone could make a cheap spoiler to stick on the back of my windshield!!!

it's $199 + $35 shipping on ebay from 4exclusive. i just phoned them yesterday and they said they're losing money on it, so i'm not sure why it's still at this price.

i'd be in for a $200 FG piece provided that it's not ugly .. how 'serious' are you in manufacturing these marcus?
