~1800 rpm whistle

When you're driving the car with the window down or cracked, do you hear a like low whistling noise when you're just cruising @ around 1800rpm?

Anyone know what that is?

if u hear it while your gasing should be ur intake. i hear mine the most in the morning when its not warmed up.

I agree with what they said. Furthermore, you can also hear it at idle - though on some cars more than others.

Honda Civic's for example have a very distinct aftermarket air intake noise at idle!
