Blxmjx,

One thing about CAI, in general, and AEM in particular, is that they are simple "tubing" that require low-tech Al manufacturring, painting and some rubbers, in addition to a K&N filter. Therefore, their profit margin should be in 100%+ range over the cost of each part. This is the incentive to get those out to the market, in the first place. The consumer would love to add some 5-10 HP to his wheels too However,

I would love to see a dyno for those mods:

1) AEM CAI alone.
2) Comptech headers
3) Random Technology High Flow Cat Convertor

1) and 2) together
1 ) 2) and 3) all together.

BeatYouAll, will throw in his V-AFC too

Looks damn good to me. Bro, do we just need to contact AEM to order one or through a middle shop??

I'm confused on why AEM did not build this with the bypass valve. I guess it's not a big deal to cut it, but you would think that they would at least offer it as an option on all of their CAI's.

I tried to listen for any humming. First while seated in the car. No humming. Then I stepped outside the car and no humming. The only sound you can hear is the hissing from the filter if you put your ear really close to where the filter sits.
