OK i have been reading all the posts and researching on these headers.. I assume it would be the same for a TL-S right? being that CL/TL are like the same.. Becuase i am looking to get this for my TL-S soon... But i dont think i can get that 220-275 price like you'all did.. I just have to settle with 429.00 which is not that bad either.

If you guys can wait a month I will be having a Groupbuy on these. They are out of stock everywhere, including Speedstash too I believe. New shipments are arriving at the end of the month and I will be buying some. So if you can wait it might be to your benefit. Thanks.

I just got the last set from Wheels-West, great company to deal with. Alpha-Werks said that there out of stock for another month or so, looks I got the last set out there, cant wait to try them.
Should I use the gaskets they come with or buy OEM gaskets ? Anyone using the AW supplied gaskets ?

I go the Alpha Werks installed last weekend. Car runs great. At first you will have a weak )low) idle, but within a few days the computer will make all the adjustments and all will work fine.

No fitment issues, except for the lower "O" ring which did not fit

So, have some high temperature gasket maker handy.

I am very happy with them, all three bottom gears pull nicely, and the car moves all together (what seems to be) effortlessly. I have had a chance to WOT at fourth and fifth yet.

I paid $260.00 delivered at my door. I am surprised Freeman is not selling at this price anymore. However, He did say he was going to start selling them for $290.00.

this all sounds good, but im still a bit iffy on getting these, cause i have only heard of one guy on here who has actually had them long enough on his car to tell how they hold up.

im just gonna wait it out, and while im doing that i could just save up some cash for comptech, which i have heard 0 problems about.

re: this is Freeman

I think we had a little misunderstanding. What I told you was that I only had one left, I already put it on ebay. This is the last one that I have, I really don't know if I can get them anymore. I will try to work on it though.

Gabo,

Its not that I don't want to offer them at 260 shipped anymore, its just that I can only offer introductory price for a certain time, or else my distributor might get upset.

ya i used the header gaskets that aw sent, the person that helped me install the headers (a mechanic) said i should use the gaskets they sent....

but for the y-pipe + cat connection the gasket they sent was no good (too small) so i had to pick up a new one.

Do you have a performance shop?

Or a web site to see all the other stuff you sell.

Got mine installed on a 02 TL-S. Everything went on nicely. The back set was a b*$#@ to put on since the header angle is a little different and a little wider than the stock manifold. Yep, the gasket at the Cat connection is a bit odd. I end up taking the Cat heat shield out so I can see the gasket when putting it on. Everything is bronzing up now. I re-tightened everything down after a couple of days.

Oh, btw, got mine and my brother for $245 shipped.
