The TL knob is nice, that's what i have. Matches the interior nicely. The S2000 knob or TSX knobs are apparently heavier so have better feel....more $ though. All are direct swaps i believe.

do you guys know what the correct threading is on the 02 TL's shift knobs?

8x1.25
10x1.25
10x1.5
12x1.25

Yeah I like both, but if I end up switching the knobs out I think I'm going to go for the IS300 knob..

i also have the 3rd gen TL 6-speed knob. it looks a lot better than the OEM CL-S 6-speed knob

thats a good one 400g shift knob but its too cold in the winter and to hot in the summer

that thread has a few unique shift knobs and lots of 3rd gen tl knobs. those are nice, but every other cl has one. i want to see something different

I'm rock'n this one too. Very happy with it. The extra weight does seem to help with shifting. It looks good in there and goes with the interior well. I used to have the 3rd gen TL knob and it looked liked it really belonged in there. But like you said rajca its gettn generic.
