$hit, gotta do some welding on my type-s

Well, for the last few days I have had this annoying squeek coming from the rear of my car. I removed my backseats, rear deck, cross member support, and trunk parts also. this did not resolve the squeek.

I then proceded to inspect where my vehicle's pervios damage was(my car's rear end also suffered a tad bit of damage in my serious accident). I removed the rear drivers side light only to see a two pieces of metal not welded together(which should have been. As I started to look farther and farther, it seems that the rear sub-panel and the quarterpanels sub parts are seperated for like 6 inches or so.

This sucks. What the bodyshop SHOULD HAVE FIXED, did not. Now I have to fix it. F-ing B.S. if you ask me. I am not good at welding, but I can get by and my selds so far have held up.

Oh well. I hope this welding will resolve my squeek!!!

You shouldn't do anything and call your insurance company immediately to tell them that the work was not done correctly.

Good luck man =)

Exactly,
your insurance company is still responsible for your vehicles safety after an accident, which is bringing back as close to original condition. Just call your claims adjustor that was originally assigned the accident.

can't you take it back to the place that fixed it? Obviously they didn't do it properly.
