$700 can get me what? need advice

Hey whats up everyone...

Going to have $700 extra and wondering what I should use it for on the car.

I need to get new rotors, since I'm not paying that ridiculous price to resurface them. I would like to replace the back too.
Any reccomendations on which ones I should go with? (pads and all too)

As for what I 'want'....I would like to lower my car and also replace the shocks....I've been hearing a lot about the tokico blues...whats everyone opinion on those and which springs should I go with? I also want to get the bodykit later on so I dont want to go too low.

Probably wont be able to even touch the 'i want' area but any advice on the rotors would be great.

thanks everyone

Juniorbean has the rotora slotted rotors for under $200/pair. Add pads to that plus install and you are at $700

Springs + shocks + install will also be close to $700

I am putting on H&R Sport Springs and Tokico HP Blues on Wednesday. You can get the Tokico's on eBay for under $300 shipped to you.

Bodykit is going to cost serious $$ with all the fabrication needed.

thanks for the great reply...I guess I'll wait on the springs and stuff until after I get rims...
I need the rotors and pads..so I might as well go that route...

thanks again

Are you in on the UniChip GB?

We've got quite a few of us here in MD if you are.

^^ The Uni-Chip is only available for the automatics currently. They need a test car out in the Portland area before a 6-speed version will be produced.

I think we are looking at 10-15 hp across the entire powerband. Although I'm sure some cars might dyno a little higher and some might be a little lower too. We will have to wait and see.

Well you do need brakes to stop, right?
SO if you need them get them, BUT lowering the CL is one of the best mods I did, and I just LOVE the look and feel of the CL. Save a couple of more $$ and get both!!
