i called the dealer this afternoon to get some answers about the 2003 vs. 2002 and availability of both....they just happen to have one 2002 CL-S left..its black with black interior and no nav...exactly what i want...so i put down some money over the phone....i asked about incentives and he said that there is a 2000 dollar insentive from the factory to the dealer which they then pass on to the buyer for the 2002 remaining models...im going there tomorrow to work out the final #s for the car but with this 2000 dollar incentive what range should i be paying for the car??? i mean invoice is 28 something and with 2000 off that...id like to be in the low 27's...is that reasonable??? please let me know asap so i know what to say when i go in there tomorrow to work out the #s... thanks!!!

 

Ummm......that offer was suposed to expire in the begining of feb. as far as i know......

Incentive or not, I bet you can still get that much off. Just don't let them pull any BS on you when you go in. Be firm and be prepared to walk away.

That incentive kills the value of the 01 and 02s out there.

 

depreciating cars are not a new issue, every car suffers a huge depreciation in the first year or 2..its just the nature of the game....but ill be happy to take advantage of the deal to get a lower price on the car...thats for sure
