Wheels?

I've been in the market for wheels for a while now and want some input from some

Acurazine members. I want a Gun-metal rim, with a polished chrome lip, but can't find

it anywhere. Anyone know of a rim like that? I would also settle for any Volk or advan

imitation companies if anyone knows of them. please...

This is similar to the rim I'm looking for: Rims, it's on a lancer, but that is the style I'm going for...

Basically any gun-metal rims with a polished lip, any suggestions?

Well for expensive rims check out the SSR Competition, Volk LE37T, Volk LE28N, Nearly any Volk GT series. Advans don't come w/ big lips in general, so I'd count those out. Check the wheel gallery, most any wheel w/ a lip can come w/ a polished one.

BlackAc, there are a lot of brands that make mesh style wheels like the black tsx pic. I'm pretty sure those black wheels on the black tsx are made by Maya.

Volk makes the Gt-7 and Gt-n, which look similar to the wheels on the white lancer.

check out this site for quick pics of a lot of nice wheels

I'm not really looking for the mesh style, just the black with chrome lip look, btw: What is the ideal offset for the TSX?

Nice, but I want completely black chrome rims with a polished lip. I want the black to match NHBP, but with a chrome lip. Any suggestions...

Volks came out with the G-black a while back. I've no idea whether it's still available.

I am looking for the mesh style..... exactly like the Maya STMs..... but they don't come out with 18" anymore......any of you experts have suggestions for a mest type wheel?? with 20 spokes in total...... unlike the SF Winning which only has 16 spokes....... thx!

and we're both 17 hah, when you find a rim let me know what you go with via PM, I'll do the same for you. Only problem right now is I can't find a rim I like. Any more suggestions? Something a little on the less expensive side?

YOu know what man..... I kinda find out that the mesh style is not our thing.... like it doesnt look good with the TSX. I think more like 6 spokes n up will look nice!.... If you want decent but less expensive, look into Works rims, they are pretty sweet, and one of the is the Mesh style!

Thanks, yea I like the 6 spoke better to, maybe even more than 6, but mesh doesn't look too good IMO on the TSX... Any more pics would help out.

I love them Axis, might consider these once I upgrade to 19s. The black ones with polished lip will look pretty good on a SSM

Check out some of the ASA rims. I like the same look and have looked into those. They're the cheaper division of BBS (who also has some nice looking rims like you're describing but mucho dinero).

These are the ones I'm looking at. They're ASA AR1's. I don't know if this pic is gonna work. If not just go to www.tirerack.com, select the TSX in the wheel gallery and the AR1's are the first wheels they list.

Check out the Zinik Z9 Sabini wheel, too. They're new to me and look nice IMO. I'm assuming by your username that your car is NBP? The black w/ machined lip look best on black and silver cars to me. Hope this helps!

Off topic but, Type X, what's with the "People's Champ" user title but you're from NYC? Don't tell me your Giants look so dismal that you've started rooting for our third string wide receiver!

Yeah, Fred Ex might become one of the starters now by the looks of T.O.'s antics anyway. Alright, I'll stop hijacking this thread with football talk.

Here are the links for 4 different rims:

Rim # 1

Rim # 2

Rim # 3

Rim # 4

These four are all nice... will they all fit the TSX? What do you like best?

If a 40mm Offset won't work, then none of those will work. Does a 40mm offset work with the TSX?

If I had a gun to my head, #3 I guess...

+40 offset should be fine...Didnt see where it said those wheels were +40 offset though...
