I have a tight one finger gap all around, which is a 1.5 inch drop all around, and it's suit me well around pretty steep driveways.

I have the Neuspeed Race Springs with Eibach/SPC rear upper camber arms and love it. This is my daily so I wanted it to be a comfortable ride since I haul around my kids. The fenders sit maybe a 1/4in off the tires at all 4 corners on the stockies. Decent enough of a drop for me,for now.

Really your call. Bouncing is in regards to damper and spring rates. I have the BC N+ c/o's and love them. At the stiffest setting and it still rides smooth. Really varies on your choice. Since you don't want to be slammed you can look into a spring/shock combo. I hear good things about the Neuspeed Super Cup. There are a lot of ppl up in NY who are slammed and doing fine. Maybe ask in your regional section too.
