Volk LE37K

Im seriously considering these Volks, the LE37K, in the gunmetal:

Didnt see anyone with them in the wheel gallery. Lots of people with the CE28's or TE37's. Anyone out there have these? Opinions?

I've got a friend of a friend that works somewhere that can get them apparently. He said they would be around $2400 with rubber. I'll find out more next week...

No, the Volks biggest are 18's. The Maya's are pretty much the same exact type that come in 19's, but im not sure if they have a gold version. I think when I was searching, they do. Also about the same price.

i have 19" volk racing te37.

the le37k is discontinued i think. i know someone how has the gold ones and i think he wants to sell em.

i think the le37k only come in 18's (largest), but yea, they're not a real popular rim.

Apparently people are still selling them and/or can get them. I'll find out for sure tomorrow or Wed.

The Maya's are very similar, but im not sure if I want to go 19". Duzy is yours lowered? How would the a-spec drop look with 19"? Or is it even needed for 19's?

A-Spec drop is so minimal, barely looks like the car is dropped IMO

I just put the A-Spec kit on my cat last Wednesday, and I can tell you with certainty that it dropped it 1.25" front and back. Having seen pictures of cars with Eibach, I gotta believe it drops it more than 1.6/1.4. I know those are the published specs, but most pics I've seen show almost no gap with Eibach...

But I agree, if you're looking for that slammed look, then A-Spec is not for you.......

Definatly NOT looking for the slammed look. I think the aspec is the perfect amount of drop for me. Thanks for the response LannyM.

the eibach pro kit doesn't give a slammed look, the gap is minimal, but if you get the a spec suspension, it's gonna look really ugly with 19's.

first off, your car is going to sit higher if you get 19's. the a spec suspension barely lowers your car.

the eibach pro kit will make your ride harsher, and it will kill your shocks faster than the a spec package. but it'll look 10x better.

you can't even tell the difference between the stock and aspec suspension. it's a serious waste of money imo.

esp since you can buy eibach pro kit and koni shocks for the same price as the a spec.

look at the modified tsx gallery, it's a stick in the photo gallery section for pic of my car, as well as other modded tsx's.

Well, my plan is not to get 19's. The Volks are 18's...

Yea, it looks like the eibach kit is the way to go...Should I do this first before I get the rims? I guess I can order them right now.

Anyone know of a good place to get them? And is this something I could do myself?

I would do the rims first as an order will take forever. I got my prokit for $150 shipped off someone on ebay, stores run about 180-200. check the vendors on the boards too.

these should be correct link to ebay . They're used, but look like they'll be a nice low price when they finish. The secret to finding the springs on ebay is that the TSX ones are the exact same as the 03-04 Accord 4door I4. You can check the part #'s at eibach's webiste

That guy selling those eibachs is saying it only lowered his accord 1.3"? Is he misinformed?

Ok guys, im a total noob with getting wheels so I need some info so I can order the correct size.

So I know, 18" is the diameter of the wheel, and I think the width is measured 7.5, 8, 8.5 and then there is the offsets. So, what would be the best setup? I dont want the tire sticking out beyond the fender wall. What else is there to consider?

And once I get that figured out, what would be the best tire size?

Maya Wheels You can get the Maya STMs in 18 if you order the HyperBlack color (the one shown in the pic you posted). STMs are . Maybe when I get a real job, I can treat Tish to some of those.

Edit: What offset is good will depend on what wheel width you choose. Choose a width first.

I was thinking 235/40 R18

Hmmm, and the Hyperblack dosent look as black as I thought. That might work.

And it sounds like the LE37K's are going to be hard to get. Im now also liking the Volk GT-N's, pic'ed here, except in Gunmetal:

Im still confused, but not as confused as I was before

what are you so confused about?

i had 18" x 7.5" volk racing le-28n's in gunmetal. i think the offset was +43?!? ask dabuda, he bought them from me. i had 225/40 - 18 tires. 235/40 is going to look chunky.

the gt-n's, as well as the rest of the gt series, is not a completely forged wheel. specifically, the gt-n is a two piece wheel, with the face being forged, the rest of the wheel is cast.

so the gt series is a lil cheaper than the monoblock forged line - i.e. the ce28n and the te37. the se37 is also a forged wheel, but was never popular. in fact, you are one of the few people that i have heard say that they like that wheel.

le37k should be hard to get, as i mentioned, they were discontinued.

that is what eibach speced it at.

supposedly it drops the accord 1.3, but 1.6 front/ 1.4 back for the tsx.

once again, you can see the modified tsx gallery, there are a few cars that have the eibach pro kit.

and i would say the majority of the modified tsx's on this board also have this suspension.

Im just confused about the type of wheel I want to get. I think the Maya's are looking like the best choice now.

I never said I like the SE37

So where would I see a difference between a +43 offset and a +48? Assume both using 225/40R18's

the se37 IS the le37k...the le37k just has a polished lip and comes in different colors.

+48 offset will sit closer INSIDE the fender, as opposed to +43 which will sit flush with the fender. or is it the other way around. i always forget. xizor has a good handle on this.

i just go to my shop and tell them, i want it to sit flush with the fender, and they give me the right offset.

maya's are ok.

Ah, I see...So the smaller the number, the futher out it will sit?

I think just inside the fender would be perfect.
