TSW Asan...will they fit??

I've got the itch again, I'm looking at these:

They are 18x8 with a +40 offset, and I'm dropped about a bit more than an inch on Koni Yellows with Comptech springs. Am I going to rub?

Also, what do you guys think of the wheels??

Wow really I thought they looked pretty sweet...that's good that they probably wont rub though.

Anybody else have an opinion on how they look? I'm also looking at the Mallory, and open to any suggestions. I'm trying to get rid of my chromies because I can't stand cleaning them twice a week in New England anymore.

These are they Mallory:

I'm not a big fan of the mirror face on a dark wheel, I think the Mallorys look much better.

I thought it would look nice since the painted inner lip matches the Carbon Gray paint on my car. The Mallory looks like it could have come stock

on one hand, i love full-faced wheel designs - Mugen NRs come to mind. on the other hand, i dont like too many spokes. They look good in these pics, but i would have to see them on the vehicle to really make a decision

I beg to differ... the only reason he may not rub is because he's not aggressively dropped. Nonetheless Max, I'd go with 225 series rubber to be safe AND make sure to pick up tires that don't have a wide shoulder.

buddylie I suppose I'm having a hard time visualizing the wheels on my car, but yeah I do like them both in the pics.

I'm coming from a set of chrome RonJon Inspyres, which are a double-5-spoke with no lip. I'm looking for a set of similar wheels, I don't want a lip and I want straight aggressive spokes. Anybody have a suggestion for something that matches that description?

You were right, Mugen NR is right on the money! I like these a lot, but they're way out of the price range. I'm looking for something this style though.

Thats why I said with those specs he shouldnt rub: 18x8 +40 w/ 1" drop.
I didnt say 18x8 +40 would fit every tsx setup without rubbing..

If you like the Mugen NRs, you may also like the Work Emotion XT7s:

Also, these are almost identical to the NRs but cheaper. theyre Toyota TRD wheels made by Rays

Those Work Emotion XT7s are beautiful and perfect but completely out of my price range. Particularly because I'm interested in the Work Metal Buffing finish. Any high-quality replicas out there?
