Tein Flex setting

my car have been parked a week while i was in US for vacation. i realize my rear passenger suspension have raise approx 1 inches. i have no idea what's going on.
anyways, make the story short. i realize that i did adjust the height in wrong way. i keep turning the spring seat lock lower to drop the car so the spring is just about to sit on the spring seat lock. i just talk to my friend and he told i did it entirely wrong. he told me i should set the spring seat back height so the spring will compress properly but i should lower the bracket lock to lower the car instead.
my questions i have read it somewhere mention that Tein have a recommend setting but i can't find it. i was reading the installation manual showing on page 4 about the "referrence value". is that the recommend setting? if so, is the ABCD is refer from right to left.
if not, can anyone show me what's the properly setting for the Flex pls?

much much appreciate your help. thank you

PS, if anyone wanna cheap out like me to install by yourself. i suggest don't go with coilover as your could screw the whole setting big time. just my 2 cents

Not sure what you meant by "right to left". If you look at the diagrams on page 4 of the installation manual, they clearly showed what are "A", "B", "C", & "D". Just follow the measurements, and it'll get your car to sit at the recommended height. If you want to go lower, then just raise the bottom perch (what TEIN refers to as "bracket lock" on pages 8 & 9 of their instruction manual).

I disagree with your statement. You just need to understand how the parts can be adjusted, then go from there. Yeah, you may make mistakes in the beginning, but it is usually something that can be undone.

thx for your info
yea, i understand it clearly shows ABCD. AB is make sense(base on the diagram from left to right) but C & D the diagram shows the C is bigger than the D. so i need to make sure before i adust this time. it cost me each time to fix this as i need alignment again
