Tein Basics more noise Problems

Tein Basics more noise Problems
This is getting to the point of frustration.. some of you may know that I recently got Tein basics for my ride and I used to have koni shocks with Eiback pro-kit. I had NO NOISE Problems until I got these new coilover set.. I keep hearing klung or rattles noises coming from all 4 coilovers.. when on the highway it’s very smooth.. I only hear noises when I hit small tiny bumps.. I don’t hear anything on big bumps.. We have disassemble the whole suspension 3 times and I have been there with the installer the whole time.. I do not see anything that we didn't do right.. we follow the instruction by the book .. I even tried to use plastic tubing around the spring ..I think it helped a bit at first but now the noise it’s back..
How can I point the source of the problem.? Any idea ?
Do you guys know any suspension expert in Georgia or Florida that I can go to ?
Man I’m frustrated with my Tein’s
Here are some pictures of the last install
PLEASE HELP!!!

I've owned 2 sets of Tein Flex suspensions(civic si, and tsx), and both made noise going over hard bumps. With the alluminum pillow mount and the extremely stiff springrates, they'll make some noise no matter what.
I've never owned Basics, so I cannot comment on noise etc., but just to let you know its likely normal.

If everything is tight you should be fine........I am installing these in joerocket's car this month and will make a pictorial installation article....
I am stumped. There must be something wrong with the installation. You either overlooked something or there is something wrong with your kit (the latter is highly unlikely).

In all my experience selling tein products I have seen a number of people claiming issues and all have been unsubstantiated in my own experience. I have performed multiple installations and can only fathom improper installation as a potential problem.
I will have better insight after installing the kit later this month.

after I described to him the problem.. and he said that It sounded like what you described.. the tech asked me to get .. part# SPR02H2186 one per coilover
these are sleeves .. that you put on the springs... he said that it should help.. and he also said that they don't make pillowball mounts for TSX basic kits
I'm gonna try this on the top and bottom of the springs .. we'll see if that helps..

Only the Tein Flex have the pillowmounts, certain Basic and certain Super Street apps are optional.

The parts Tein told you to order are just rubber liners that go around the end of the springs, which can be found on your factory springs. No need to order new ones, just grab the ones off the old springs.

It went well! I watched the install and can see many reasons why you may get strange noises. I could have done it myself, but it would have taken me 10 times as long and I most likely would have had problems. I think I could do it without a problem now that I have seen it done right all the way.
Will post pics soon and give a write up on the Tein SS set up.

SS coilovers
Any problems with the super street Tien's? I'm thinking about buying them, but I don't want problems like that... I think I might go with an Eibach Pro-Kit and Koni's, any problems with that set-up?

I'm not having any problems with my SS set up as of yet. Everything sounds fine to me. I think the noise has a lot to do with the install, there are so many possible contributing factors.
I'm sure glad I went with the SS instead of the basics since I can easily adjust the stiffness of the ride with the SS. I don't know about the Eibach Pro-kit or Koni's....JTso has tried a few brands on his TSeX, you might want to ask him. He now has the Tein Flex set up. I hope everyone figures out the noise prob with the Basics.

Got my Tein Basics installed on Monday by Mr. Heeltoe (Marcus). After driving it for several days, I'm happy to report no noise issues, except for my Comptech rear sway, but thats a whole other issue.
My advice? Seek professional help on installing these things...

I think it is really unfair to blame the coilovers here. You know, the articulation of a multilink suspention involves a lot of arms moving around. I am not so sure the TSX is deat quite in stock form. I am going to do some listening in my TSX later today to confirm this.
You know if the car makes a little noise stock, doing things like adding rims and tires or sport suspention, or even camber arms with stiffer bushings than stock, you are going to accentuate the noise....
Now, Delmiroc, with clunks and noises coming from "every corner" of the car, it sounds like the install was not 100% spot on.....do you have any updates for us? I am curious to know...
