Tanabe SOC Type-II Coilovers Installed : Initial Impression
I just got these coilovers installed with a bunch of other parts.
Thoughts:
1. The ride is AMAZING. Really feels like a stock suspension should. Not harsh in the least bit. Very controlled and pliable over a variety of surfaces. In addition to the suspension, low profile tires were installed and the ride is still not harsh in the least bit.
2. Body motions including roll and pitch have effectively been reduced. Steering feels slightly more immediate and responsive. It feels as if the car received a factory "Sport package".
3. Operates silently, no squeaks, rattling, clunking.
For the price I paid, I am very impressed. The TSX should have come with suspension like this from the factory.
Hopefully, my sentiments do not change as I spend more time on this setup.
Many thanks to Dennis at http://www.i-modify.com/ for the install. He did a great job.
He installed the coilovers + camber kit, mugen grill, lower grille chrome dress up, and new wheels + lugs all for $240 and did a perfect job.
Pictures coming soon, all that is left is window visors and new exhaust tips.
Thanks,
Aamir

You can definitly feel the difference when you take every corner. Koni and Eibach combo handles better no doubt about it. However, you'll hear thunder inside of your car when you hit every pet hole you go through. If you think you have very good paved local roads and you want stiff solid feel, then it should be better. However, for me, it became such a stress to avoid all pot wholes and uneven pavements later on.
