I'm planning on buying new summer tires for my TSX. But since I don't make a lot of money, I'm going to stick with stock rims for now until I save enough for a set 18" VOLK GTNs. Anyhow, does anyone know if I could use 225/45 R17 on the stock rims? Or I have to stick to 215/50 R17?

7" wide rims can easily fit 225mm tires. On my last car (3G Eclipse) I had 225's on my stock 6.5" wide rims and had no problems.
