Spring question?

Ok, I bought the A-Spec spring/shock combo but I'm very unhappy with the drop. I don't think I achieved even close to half an inch of a drop on my car. Which leads me to ask a couple of questions. 1.If I put lower springs, will I need to change the shocks? 2.What springs should I purchase to get a nice drop on my car? (Maybe a 1.5 in drop) Example:

No you wouldn't need to change your shocks right away but your shocks will wear out faster. And sooner or later you will be replacing them. I think either the Eibach Prokit or Tein S.Techs are what you're looking for.

Look at some springs here:

Do you mind me asking which version of the A-spec suspension you bought: year and manual/auto?

Also, that's a picture of the drop you want? Or is it the drop you currently have?

Thanks.

Ok, but can you tell me which version of the A-spec suspension you had installed on your 04 TSX? The reason I ask is that I heard the 06-08 A-spec suspension is lower than 04-05 A-spec suspension. Also, you can get a bit lower if you buy the manual version of the A-spec suspension for your automatic car.

I'll be installing my 06-08 manual A-spec on my 08 TSX this coming spring. Hopefully, I won't be disappointed with the drop. I'm hoping for between 1-2 finger gaps in the front. I currently have 4 finger gaps in the front.

I have the 04-05 A-Spec suspension for the automatic transmission....... I hope you get what you're looking, I think I barely got half an inch of a drop on my car. That's why I'm getting the Tein basic coilover suspension, it's adjustable so no more disappointment for me.

You really can't go wrong with any of Tein's products. Buddy Clubs and Neuspeed/Koni Super Cup kit would be two other great alternatives.
