A-Spec suspension just arrived in the mail (Update: Suspension Installed!!)
A-Spec suspension just arrived today. I'm so excited...too bad it'll have to wait until mid april or so before I can get it installed.
First order of business, though, is to locate another TL wheel in the DC metro area to replace the one that I have that is slightly bent (or I might consider repairing it if the price is right).
Anyone know a good place in the DC area to get a wheel repaired?
Updates on the A-Spec suspension to come once I get it installed.

CG,
I've asked a lot of people, and gotten the same response from everyone, if you want a wheel repaired around here, its Ye Ole Wheel & Welding Shop in Elkridge, MD. I know that's mad far, but apparently its worth it. A friend of mine gave me a personal recommendation to go there, they did his work there, and they did a great job. The guy I talked to a few weeks ago with Enkei's for sale (1 bent) recommended I take it there to get fixed, and various searchs on the iNet all point to this place.
I asked a shop in Rockville for a quote on fixing the one bend in the wheels I didn't buy, and they said $150, and I wasn't really sure of their quality.
I can't find a website for them, but here's their info.

I spend 2 much time here
i am considering having a wheel repaired myself. my wheel would cost about 400+ to replace so the idea of repairing does seem appealing. other the other hand i'm thinking maybe i should just shell out the dough to buy a new wheel and use my slightly warped one as a back up.
what you guys think?

Though if I've installed the rear sway, cold air intake and pulled out my ECU for reflashing myself, I should be able to do a whole car suspension install myself right?... Right? (with the proper tools, of course).

As you may know, JTso installed mine, with me hanging over his shoulder, and it's not that bad at all. Of course, he's done it many times, so he makes it look easy
Just be sure to torque everything to spec and to compress the suspension with the floor jack prior to torqueing everything. It only took Johnny about 2 hours to do the job.

I have an 06 and I got the A spec suspension installed by the dealer ($325 with alignment) during my first oil change at 5000 miles.
You are definately going to love it. I also have a progress RSB (done a week later) and the car is so balanced and flat.
I didn't have time to get it done either so thats why I had the dealer install it. Looking at the instructions that came with the suspension, its pretty easy. Only thing that sucks is pretty much removing the whole rear of the interior to get to the rear strut/spring.
And yes, the 06 a spec suspension is the same as the other years, you only have to specify AT or MT.
Aspec suspension + Progress RSB + Hondata + Injen = insanely fun car

The price you paid including alignment is one of the better I've heard from a dealer. Works out to about ~$250 for the suspension alone.

The bent wheel has been replaced and the vibration is gone. I even went over the wheel looking for the bend and it was ever so slight that it was barely noticeable, but it really had a huge effect on the ride.
And for the locals, Ourisman Honda in Bethesda has a Hunter GSP9700 road force balancing machine where I got my tires balanced. They only charged me $55 for a 4 wheel balancing and only charge $31 to unmount and remount a tire from the wheel. Might be worth considering if you need to get a road force balancing done.
A-Spec suspension will be going on after I get back from traveling in April.

Regardless, the handling is nicely improved with no penalty to ride quality, it's highly affordable, and it's OEM quality. I'm happy with it.

Can I ask why you decide on the A-spec suspension vs. Tanabe beside the price difference of $200?
Also what size TL wheels and KDW tires do you have for your TSX. How much did you pay for them too? Thx

As for the TL wheels, they're the factory 17x8 inch wheels and the tires are 235/45/17, the OEM size as well.
I bought the wheels and tires used from another member here for around $350.

BTW, great buy on those tires and wheels.
