nnh768, yeah, that was the cheapest I've seen online, the dealer is actually pretty close to me, but I figured maybe we can organize a gb and get an even better deal if we have interest

$585 shipped

Ok, I've talked to Tim at Hondacuraworld, all we need is interest from 3 or more people, and we can get the A spec suspension for the TSX for $585 shipped.

Once we have enough interest, I'll show him this thread and we're good to go!

Open again. Group buy rules posted VV

You should contact the vendor and find out how many people he would need in order to establish prices and specifications. (you've done this)

When you reach that minimum, you can let him know and he would have to contact soopa by email at adam(at)acurazine(dot)com to make arrangements to become a vendor and post in the Sponsored Sales & Group Buys forum.

That would start the ball rolling, and each interested member could visit the Sponsored Sales & Group Buys forum to arrange for purchase and delivery.

That's a great deal. I Paid $645 shipped from Acura of Escondido on ebay, and that was a god deal. Hondacuraworld is a reputable dealer too. I just bought a body kit from them and had zero problems.

Yup. All you need to do is reply to this thread, once we have 3 or more people showing interest, Tim will set something up (on the dealership's h-a-world world, I think).

Further Info ...

Good news all. It was pointed out that Tim is already a board vendor ( >> See bottom of this page << ). He does business as Hondacuraworld.

If you are interested in the A-spec suspension at this price then add your name to the list. Once the minimum number of interested buyers is met you can call Tim at 1-888-729-5257 or go to http://www.hondacuraworld.com/Mercha...gory_Code=ATSX

So far, I see the following members interested:
1. supraken
2. raheel616

You asked for it, and it's yours

http://www.hondacuraworld.com/Mercha...=08W60-SEC-200

Now bear in mind that my weekly stock orders are placed Thursdays and arrive Mondays, so those of you who order before Thursday at 3 PM EST will have a one week time advantage over those that order, say, on Friday.

Thanks once again for the opportunity to be of service!

I ordered my OEM Body Kit from H/A World back in early 2004. They are a good, reliable vendor.

I believe I remember reading that the A-spec suspension is 10% stiffer than stock. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I'll probably order one too. I've been watching prices on Ebay, and since shipping is included this is the lowest I've seen.
I just got the body kit from hondaacuraworld on the group buy, and service was great.
Do most of you plan to install yourselves, or have it done?
If you're having it done, what have the labor quotes been, from dealers or other shops?

Just what I've been looking for!

So will the receipt be from an Acura dealership (so it'll have the standard 1 year Acura warranty)?

lcrazyaznl, I think you're right that Tim's Acura Dealership is located in Buffalo...

Yea I just went there and talked to him, I can pick up the aspec there and not need to pay for shipping.

Quoted at the dealer for install 468.

Tim said as long as you get it done by a good shop that does it right it will not void the warrenty.

I'm need to buy a coilover for my 06 TSX and I need to make a decision.
I'm just wondering why you guys are opting for the Aspec suspension rather than the Tanabe Sustec pro type II?

Aspec = $ 585 shipped

Tanabe + $765 shipped (adjustable in height)

Beside from the price any other reason why you guys like the Aspec instead?

Thx in advance for any input on this matter.

^^It's OEM for one. Should make it easier to move on the resale market. That and there's little penalty to stock ride quality.

Not to p!ss on the idea, but it Cost me $620 (Canadian) plus taxes for my Koni Sports. They lower the car about 3/4 of an inch with the spring perch adjustment and tighten the handling far more than the A spec springs would, plus they are adjustable for rebound (rear adjustment is hard to reach though). If you have a spring compressor you can do it yourself and it's no harder than changing springs., actually easier b/c you just leave the spring in the compressor instead of releasing and reloading.

I just ordered mine from the group buy. I’m planning to bring the car first to the dealer for the rear camber TSB before getting the a-spec installed at a local shop.

Here’s a link of the rear camber TSB discussion:
