Rim Scratch

Got a long scratch on the rim while parking slowly AND caught on the curb at the side . The scratch is at the edge of the rim next to the tire. It's rough and uneven that some metal must have been scratched off.
1. How to fix it?
2. Corrosion?

Thanks.

You have to take it to a shop where they do rim refinishing and yes they will rust eventually.

Moving this to Tires, Wheels and Suspension. It's where the knowledgable wheel guys hang in.

This is the one thing that I hated about the stock rims. The rim lip sticks out past the rubber. My new 18x7.5 rims with 235-40 tires, the rubber sticks out slightly more than the rim.. providing a bit of protection when you mess up and hit a curb parking.. which you shouldnt do by the way. But there are places that repair rims.. call some shops in your area that deal in custom rims and ask if they know of anyone.
