thanks for the help man, i didnt even think of looking at the tanabe dealer list, i will make sure i pick from there, might have to run down to P Tuning this weekend and check it out. As for the install meet, i woud be cool with doing it then, but only if there are some people that have done it before, tnot that i don't trust my fellow TSX buddies in Nova.

Just talk to xizor and TSX.Fury. They both have done coilovers at least a dozen times between the two of them. I'm sure that at least one of them will be there for the install meet.

i don't think the tanabe's come fully assembled, which makes it a PITB compared to a Tein Flex or Buddy Club. it requires a spring compressor, so doing it at an install meet would probably take more time than its worth. you could ask fury where he got his original tanabe's installed at

Yeah, it's kinda a pain since they don't have the top mounts. Still, if you get some crazy expensive quotes and don't want to pay it we can help you do it at an install meet sometime.

if its $500 to install, i'd say just go flex or buddy club since they're already assembled and DIY, the total would be about the same as Tein Basic + install

This place in Wheaton I got a quote from told me $350 for install of pre-assembled strut-shock combo including the alignment. That place might be worth a look.

well, these babies have already been shipped, so im locked in and to tell you the truth, they are exactly what im looking for, so im not gonna try and return them for something else. I'm willing to drive an 1-1.5 hours for this, as i dont want to skimp on quality. It sucks that there is no place to do this around here, if it were cincinnati, where im from, i know i can find a suspension shop around town, its like pulling teeth trying to find that out here with all these stupid mom and pop gas stations

call up Ultimate Performance in Dulles, Inline Pro in Springfield, ... there's a bunch of auto shops around, but if you're looking for cheap prices, you probably won't get a great deal

well, ive come to a realization that everything in NOVA is expensive, so what can i do. I did find this with the help of google and ive found many shops to call around, this isnt everything that i have found, but its a good start for reccommended shops.

DC_TSX, a bunch of the TL guys have used I-Modify down in Springfield. I'm not sure if any of them have had any suspension work done by him but the guys seem to like the work he has done. I have no experience with this guy so I can't vouch for him. The only problem you might have is that he does all his work at his house. You can PM him too, he's on AZ Check out his rates for springs and coilovers.
