question. after removing back seat how do i remove the plastic lining thats in the way of the top mounting nuts for the strut?

No, You will just have to work with it on. Its hard but you can do it.

 

how the hell am i supposed to torque these nuts to spec with that thing in the way. argggggh!

 

Pull it until the clips snap out. Then it gives you enough play that you can hold the lining up and work at those mounting nuts all you want.

when i installed my previous suspension, i could squeeze in a torque wrench no problem. what kinda torque wrench you got, the one that "clicks" or the one with the needle arm?

No need to remove the top panel. You can easily hand torque the top mounting nuts.

 

Yeah, it feels like something will crack the first time you pull it out, but it's ok. You'll hear the clips come out, then you can get to those nuts easily. The first time pulling it out is always the hardest since it feels like you're breaking your car.

 

im all done guys thanks for the tips. finally got the tein basics on.

im still hearing some kind of creaking noise from the rear cabin area inside the car. im not sure what it is but this noise was occurring before i installed the teins.
it is very annoying especially when the radio is off.
