Quick question about installing springs

I searched but came up with nothing.
so heres the story, I just bought some tein s-tech springs for my TSX. Inside the box were some papers regarding safety blah blah...but there was a sheet tell me how much to cut off the bump stop rubber. Do I have to trim off a piece or can I just slap on the springs and call it a day?

Thanks in advance guys

Some springs are designed to work with the bump stop as an internal spring so no trimming is required. However, if it specified to be trimmed , then you should trim it. Otherwise, the ride can be very hash.
