Question on Progress RSB Install

I installed my RSB this afternoon. Overall, it was a straight-forward and easy process, however, taking the nuts off the end-links was a feat of strength which may actually have given me a hernia, and I ended up having to un-hang the exhaust on the driver side to get my wrench onto one of the bracket bolts. Total time, start to finish, about an hour and a half.

My question: are you supposed to use the larger silver washers that come with the RSB in addition to the old washers on the bolts? I assumed you should not, but for the life of me I could not get the old washers off. Rust, I'm sure, played a role here. I've got the RSB installed nice and tight with both washers on, but if this is a dangerous setup, clearly I'll have to work something else out.

I hand-torqued all bolts down in absence of a torque wrench (although I fail to see how you could use one on the endlinks anyway). Went on a test run, the car felt so great and flat on turns. I may have heard a little bit of squeaking at times. I did lube the bushings real good, can I assume this is the RSB settling in?

Love the mod.

mine were fine and easy to get off, did the same with just taking the exhaust out of the back four hangers to get the new bar in. did you use the hex key on the endlinks

Yeah I did. I live in CT and my car is an 04 so the nut and threads were rusted to hell and back. It took a whole lot of time and torquing with the closed wrench!

Did you use the Progress washers as well as the OEM washers, or were you able to get you OEMs off? I'm worried about my double-up, haha.

Where did you get your RSB? I bought mine from our board vendor Excelerate and the bushing lube was contained in the package. As for what kind of lube, I would do some searching on the forums to find the best kind to buy. I believe it is high-temperature silicon grease, but don't quote me on that.
