Problem with SPC/Raybestos Camber Kit

I ordered a Raybestos 6111163 Rear Camber arm for the TSX, I got in the mail a Box that said Raybestos 6111163. but inside was an SPC Honda/Acura EZ ARM (looks like a SPC 67290). I was told it would still work. But it dosent fit, the Chamfer/taper on the base of the bolt of the ball joint is flater and wider than the OE one. yet I was told repeatedly that it was OE spec. But visually I can tell you it is not.

The bolt of the ball joint attached to the camber arm, does not go all the way through knuckle deep enough for the cotter pin to go in or lock nut to even be threaded all the way in.

I think im thinking what you might be thinking.

That it might not be a SPC Honda/Acura Rear EZ arm 67290
ACURA MDX (2001 - 2006)
ACURA TSX (2004 - 2008)
HONDA ACCORD (2003 - 2007)
HONDA ODYSSEY (1999 - 2004)
HONDA PILOT (2003 - 2008)

Instead It could be a:
SPC Honda/Acura Rear EZ arm 67090
(Acura: 2001 3.2CL, 1999-03 3.2TL, 1996-08 3.5RL. Honda: 1998-02 Accord)
or
SPC Honda/Acura Rear EZ arm 67095
(Acura: 2004-08 TL)
or
SPC Honda/Acura Rear EZ arm 67570
(Honda: 2009+ Pilot)
or
SPC Honda/Acura Rear EZ arm 67590
(Honda 2005+ Odyssey)

All of the parts look identical, even when you hold them in your hand, untill you look more closely. Even the numbers are similar, i'm not suprised if some just made a honest mistake, or mix up in the stocking#'s in the warehouse, which is not uncommon.

There were no model #'s on the camber arms, except engraved lot-045 and lot-058

Yeah, they look very, very similar. Would have the dealer swap them out.

I just Talked to SPC, the Tech guy said they know who I am, and they are having a meeting about it, they waiting to get a OE tsx arm is so they can see why it wont fit, and why they listed it.

I'm supprised they having a meeting over this topic, I guess that's good support.
or maybe becuase i'm posting and emailing everyone about it lol.

only problem is my dealer is rock auto, they transfered me to another department and it's taking forever, i'm been waiting since mid last week for a reply back....

SPC is dynamite when it comes to supporting the dealers and customers.

Curious, what year is your TSX?

Interesting. Curious to see if they find that very early production models had some suspension differences. Do you know the month of production?

SPC has great support!

They determined what happened was that Raybestos had incorrectly reboxed a SPC Honda/Acura Rear EZ arm 67095 (Acura: 2004-08 TL) as a 6111163TSX camber arm.

I got bounced back and forth between Rockauto and Raybestos, but once they saw the official letter from SPC, Rockauto offered an exchange for the same part???, and Raybestos offered to send me new correct arms.

Yes, they do! Great to hear it got worked out AND that it wasn't a product issue!

Take care.
