New tires installed today
After researching on Tire Rack I decided to change my tires ( Yokohama AVS ES100 ) to Avon Tech M500.
I installed the tires today and this is my first impression:
1. Quiet Ride.
2. Softer on the Bumps.
3. GREAT wet handling.
4. Cannot run car to the limits like the Yokos, but perfect for highway ride.
5. Nice tire for the money
I will wait until next week to do some hard cornering test with my brother G-Tech-pro and post somo photos of the tires ok.
Take care all.

Thanks for the post. The M500 is the tire I was planning to go to once I wear out the stockies. Can you elaborate a bit more about your first (quiet) and fourth (not like Yokos at limits) points.

2. At high speed when you turn the steering you can feel the precision and effort needed to make the car turn, on the M500 the handling is not as sharp at HS but is predictable.
Hope that respond to your questions.
Take care

Since I have the car those were the third set of those tires at 44K miles.

I read about Fuzion ZRi, Potenza RE750, Goodyear KDW2, or Avon M500.
The potenzas and goodyear where not cheap ( around 150.00 ) ea.
So the Fuzion, Avon and Yokos were very close in price.
I selected the Avons and the ride is sweet, better grid in wet and no noise.
Hope this helps

I just put Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2 tires on my 04 TSX about 4k miles ago. They are new and a bit pricy, but are quiet and handle incredibly well. There was a great review of them on another Honda site.
The size is 225/45-17 and which is a bit shorter than the 215/50-17 stock tires (unfortunately more than I expected). Nevertheless, I have an A-Spec suspension kit and Comptech rear anti-roll bar in the garage ready to install, so the tire-fender gap should be corrected back to the stock amount (or slightly less).
I'm interested to see how long these tires last... I'm hoping for 20k+ miles, but we'll see. Performance tires are the best mod for the $$ IMHO.
