Need help with supension mod!!!

This subject is probably beaten to death, used the search but still havent solved my question.

OK .. i use to drive a teg with ground control, i realy like how the car handle besides the road noise. omg it was loud. i thought it was a little rough but for the way it handled for a mear 300 buck it was worth it.

now since the tsx is more of a lux, i'm not lookin for that dumped look. I think the tsx needs to be a bit stiffer and lowered to get rid of the wheel gap. I like the way the comptech lowers the car. but i dont want to get comptech springs and then not like the ride. that'd be a waste of money. So all of you fellas/gals who have switch out their stock suspension, what do you recomend?

Thanks in advance!

You should look into the A-Spec suspension kit, it has the same 1" drop of the CompTech, but comes with shocks to keep the suspension firm.

I got fully adjustable buddy clubs. I love em, the ride is great. With adjustable coilovers, you can dial in settings for your desired ride comfort. That is the best way if you are picky about your ride quality.

I know that it doesn't come with one so I guess acura doesn't see the camber being an issue. If I were to get the kit I would go with a camber kit just to be safe.

any spring will prob be fine if you're not wanting to slam your car. i have eibach pro kit and it rides fine. just bear in mind it is a lil harsher than stock, but if you're used to riding in lowered cars, the ride is superb.

It's a kit made by Acura that has lowering springs with a slightly stiffer spring rate and new shocks with different valving.

lol i have no idea! But i just got off the phone w/ frank .. he said that it's not an A-spec kit. The part number is legit. But desciption doesnt say A-Spec like how the part number for the TL and TSX. So it's not the offical A-spec kit. The part number from that escondido guy on ebay is 08w60-SEC-200B is actually an HFP suspension kit and is made for the tsx. I'm guessing TOV thought it was the A-spec kit bc this is the HFP kit for the euro accord. not the accura tsx even though nearly identical car.

Note for people who dont know: HFP is Honda Factory Performance

it could be that the part number was carried over from Honda Europe, but it is the A-Spec suspension, its being sold by other Acura dealers. Most dealers don't even know a TSX A-Spec suspesion exists, so I wouldn't consider them the best source of information.

i saw pics of that guy with the a-spec suspension and was not impressed. it's still too high. what a lame way to waste money.

pro kits are a little more aggressive and a fraction of the cost.

true, I don't like the mild drop either, but the aspec has matching struts too

Are you talking about my car???? but yes I also a bit of disappointed with the drop too Well at least it is lower than stock and improve the handling & ride a lot. Hey it is a car that need to ride 2 small kids everydays, so it is prefect for my case.

I dun have a teg and dun have ne experience with ground control too. But I used to have a 5gen lude with h&r cup kit & sway. For sure the lude has better handling and less bodyroll since it was slammed and with T1S but my tsx is on stock rim & tire and no sway. But for normal aggressive driving & cornering (going 90km/hr on curly road or 60km/hr on left corner) is still ok and is a big improvement over stock.
