Guys with 19's whats your offset

Im looking at 19x8 G-Games 48 offset. DTD says they wont fit. But 18x8 48 offset works with tire rack. Tire rack says no way any 19 will fit. & Discount tire direct says no way any 8 inch wide wheel will fit. Only other option is 18x7.5 50 offset which I dont want. I have no kit & plan to drop with either prokit or mugen SS.

+48 might be pushing it for the outer fender lip. I have +45 on an 8 inch wide wheel, and it's a bit close.....but my car is lowered more than the average set of springs will do.

i think cmf drank too much for the 4th, 48 is closer in than 43, so you should be fine, ask the guy's w/ 19s though

i have 19 x 8 volk racing te37, +43 offset, i'm lowered on eibach pro kit, no rubbing,

the wheels sit flush with the body. i have had 5 people in the car, and they're not light, one was over 200 lbs, everyone else was about 170-180...and still, no rubbing, even with the steering wheel turned all the way.

Im about just say fuck it & get the 18x7.5 with the 50 offset but I hate that chubby ass tire.Look at how retarded. I would getting the two piece because the lip is shinnier. Ideally I would want the 18x8 to stretch the tire out a bit but they only come in a 42 offset. This

...& this is the look im goin for. I might be unsucessful though with the 18x7.5.

From a "gal" with 19s

+48 offest 19 X 7.5 Alba Banks, not lowered, no rubbing. You might want to consider 19 X 7.5 and not just 19 X 8, if that size is available in a rim you like.

How much are the 2-piece? When I was wheel shopping they were a lot more $$ than the 1-piece, and 2-piece are always heavier than 1 piece wheels

I have ADR M-Sport 19x8.5, Nitto 235/35/19 tires lowered on Neuspeed Sport springs. I believe my offset is 40mm. Wheels are even with the fender and no rubbing.

If you guys can do this then why is it that a 18x8 42 offset wont fit. 19x8 43 offset will fit but one mm down will devestate the suspension or rub..

Aside from that
How do you guys find your abs & vsa working with the +2 wheels.

18x8 with 42 offset will work who said it wont. also it is better to have a higher offset because with a 42 or 40 offset if you have camber kits in the rear and set the camber at 0 degree it will rub. and no problems with abs or vsa. because your overall diameter of the stock wheels are 25.46 in and the 235/35/19 tires are 25.48 almost identical.

I appreciate your input project TSX Im still kind of torn between the two. I dont want my pick up to suffer that much with the 19s but that chubby tire on the 18x7.5 is so unattractive I guess ill have to cross that bridge when I get to it. The whole experience is so frustrating that im gonna put off buying rims all together for a little while. Thanks for the help guys.

that's what i used to think a looooooong time ago, until i got 19's.

18's that look bad, everytime i see dabuda's car, it looks great. of course 19's would look better, but his 18 x 7.5 looks great!

it sounds to me like you really want the look, but you're nervous about giving up the ride quality. well, you have to lose something to gain something, ya know.

imo, i would get the lightest strongest wheel possible at the size i want. i tried settling for something i didn't want, (18" racing hart) and boy did i hate it. just have to save for what you really want and don't settle for less.

my wheels are the ace alloy wheel called the klassik 19in x 8.5in with a 40mm offset and 235/35 toyo proxes 4 tires. if you dont want to go that wide then www.acealloywheel.com has a wheel called the ARIUS in hyperblack polished lip but the biggest size is 18in x 7.5in very nice wheel.
