Need advice on a Summer wheelset, thanks.

Alright here's the deal. I'm up in Rochester, NY and it's winter here (surprisingly no snow though) and I purchased my car 2 weeks ago and had them put on Blizzak snow tires rather then the OEM all seasons. My plan is to use this tire and wheelset for the winter and buy a whole new wheelset for the spring that will not need to be ALL season but merely good in the rain and on normal road.

1) I was thinking about going to 18" wheels because I feel like they look alittle better, but if you convinced me to stay 17 I guess I would. What does everyone recommend on dry pavement for performance? 17 or 18?

2) Basically I'm looking for a set of wheels that will be moderate to high performance on the road and making fast turns. Do you have 2 or 3 suggestions?

3) Then a set of hubs that will look sweet as well but not too ghetto. Also, is there a way you can put the acura symbol in the middle of the rims like it is on the OEM?

I'd be willing to spend up to $2500 for these wheels.

Thanks for all your help,
Chris

i was born in rochester and know how tough those winters are. i say stick with 17s for reliability in inclement weather. it really depends on what you're looking for, i always liked color matched rims to go with my ride, so i say get gunmetal. also, no need to spend $2500 - you can get a decent set w/ tires for around $1500 or so

To go with Godfather, there is really no need to spend that much money on wheels cause you can get a really nice set for $1500-$1800 with tires!!

I am currently still pondering the idea of 17's or 18's as well and haven't fully decided. I'm in Philly, so NE but not as far as you! I'm leaning towards the 18's and if you have such a high price range look at the new upcoming Ron Jon Legends that i was thinking about

Oh, what color is your TSX?

Yes... that's what I did. I fabricated new center caps - drilled them, paint matched them, and mounted OEM Acura emblems. I prefer my ride to look like it came from the "factory", even though I have aftermarket items...

And I agree w/ godfather - I like color matched rims on my vehicles with the exception of maybe gold/bronze on a white car. If you have CGP, I'd personally go with gunmetal rims. I have a NBP w/ glossy black/chrome lip wheels on mine.

If you can find set on Ebay or at the Acura dealer for a fair price.

The Silver Star wheels look REALLY good on the CGP. They are 17s.

However, Acura must've taken them off of the '07 accessory list since they're no longer on their site
