Matching OEM Wheel Paint?

Guys, has anyone ever found a paint that is an EXACT match to the stock TSX rims? I need to repair two of my stock rims and the Duplicolor paint I got just dosent match correctly.

I've seen threads on this, but I've never seen someone acutally get OEM matched paint.

Wonder how close the TL oem color is to the TSX oem color. there are quite a few threads on the tl side about color matching. Here's one in particular I found.

Good find, but I'm looking for an aerosol, not just touch up paint.

I wish I could tell you what I have on mine. When I bought my TL wheels for my car two wheels had been fixed and I couldn't even tell...seriously. Found this other thread though, may or may not help. This would be a very good thing for all to know for future reference if we can find a good match.

Another nice find.

Yea, see that Duplicolor paint dosent match at all. There's just too much flake in the paint. I'll have to hunt around do see if I can find someone who has used the Wurth paint.

Actually, let me contact the guy i bought my wheels from. I know he had the shops info that repaired them. Not sure if the shop would tell us or not what they used but its worth a shot.

Ok I found out where mine had been repaired.. the color match is perfect pretty much. I didn't think about it but I could snap a shot or two to show you. I'll have to do it on sunday or monday when I get back from the beach. Maybe they will tell you what color/brand paint they use.

Anyway, he's allowed to talk some shit because he "knows" me. And knows I'll probably give it right back to him.

Here ya go Joe. Its so close you really can't see the line or where the repair starts so I highlighted them. I'd say there is slightly less sparkle to the repair spot but even crotching down and staring at the wheel its very hard to spot. the arrows indicated where the repair starts and stops.

I have 2008 TSX. 9 spoke 17" silver wheel. When I tried to paint the curb rash with Dupli-Color, the color was way off. I ended up going to local FinishMaster and getting 1/2 pint of Honda NH95M wheel paint. That 1/2 pint cost me $45 but matched perfectly. Then I clear-coated.
