17" RSX A-Spec Hyper Silver on 2006 TSX
I just installed 17 x 7.5" 45mm Offset RSX A-Spec Wheels on my 2006 TSX. This all started when I discovered a bubble in the side wall of one of my tires. Because the tires had about 30,000 miles on them, I decided to change all 4, and then I saw these sweet looking wheels on eBay...
Anyways, I decided to mate these wheels with 235/45-17 Kumho Ecsta 4X All-season tires. 235 is 2cm wider than the stock 215, but 225/45-17 that I had before these were little short resulting in slight speedometer and odometer errors. These tires are very close to stock tires in circumference and height. I was also little worried about 45mm offset (stock is 55mm), 7.5" wide wheels (stock is 7") and slightly wider tires all contributing to tires that stick out too much. However, I think they look fine. There is absolutely no clearance problems anywhere.
As far as the tires, Kumho Ecsta 4X All-Season tires DO NOT HAVE ANY RIM GUARDS, contrary to what I read in some other forums. But it did finish first in the most recent Tirerack comparison test.
Tirerack Test of Value-Priced Ultra High Performance All-Season Tires
NTB where I had these tires mounted scratched 2 of the wheels and put a small nick in another, but that's another thread.
Enjoy the pics.

Looks Clean and Great! Is this stock height or lowered? I have the same car/color.
2 OEM rims have horrible side rash, looking for a replacement.
How much did you pay for these, if you dont mind?

OP, can you comment on how the tires have performed and worn since February? How many miles have you driven since then. I am considering these tires for my '08 and would like some real opinions on the tires.
Especially how they performed in the snow late last winter......any info would be great. These tires are cheap at tirerack.com right now & I'd like to decide today or tomorrow. Thank you.
