Kumho Ecsta ASX owners.... any flat spotting?
I've had them for a few weeks now, and noticed that every morning (or whenever the car sat for a few hours) when I start driving there is a constant vibration that feels like the tires are flatspotting.... this vibration tends to go away after a few minutes of driving....
Also, what psi do you set the tires at? Right now I just set them all to 32 psi, and for some reason whenever I take my car to the dealer or Sears for the balancing, they always set it to 35 psi....

I get the same thing on cooler nights/mornings w/ my Toyo Proxes TPT tires. I think its somewhat normal for a tire to get this when cold, and since it goes away within 1 or 2km, it shouldn't harm the tire at all.
Edit: 32 or 33psi.

From a guy I know who owns www.tiretrends.com:
This does happen when temperatures start to drop. Mostly with performance tires. This is because of the nylon cap that sits on top of the steel belts. The nylon cap is a layer placed over the steel belts that bonds the steel to the tread and holds everything together. This is especially important at higher speeds and during enthusiastic driving. This layer also protects the steel from impacts/punctures that may allow water/moisture to cause corrosion and eventual tire failure. So not only does this nylon cap help with performance, but it is a very important safety feature.
One draw back is that when temperatures start to drop it can cause the nylon cap to distort or "flat spot". This usually happens when the cars sits overnight. Once the tire heats up the problem usually disappears.

I think the reason you wouldn't feel it on some tires but would on others, is because of the softness of the rubber.
OEM tires are hard as hockey pucks eh.
Toyo T1-S are REALLY soft (ZR rated).

how is road noise compared to the stock tires when you bought them?
I'm considering these for my next set.

I'm running these tires, on occasion I feel the "slight" vibration after a pretty cold night, but it's not like it's shaking your ass off or anything. You'd have to be really feeling it. After a few minutes of driving, it's gone, just need to warm up the tires a bit, not a problem at all.
