Just order 5Zigen Pro Racer, 43 or 48 offset ?

They are going to call me on monday to tell me if they are 43 or 48 offset, Isn't it better 48 for the TSX ? The wheels are 18 x 7.5.
Here is a pic of the wheel.

Stock rims offset is 55, what do you mean "someone kicked in the wheels"? Get the 48!

I believe the lower the offset, the more it flush (or stick out) to the wheel well. It really depends on your car setup (suspension). If the offset is too low, and your suspension is slam, you might have a slight tire rub w/ it.

You can go for 48 on the safe side.

If +43 is available, I'd get that one. I have the Mugen NR's which are 18x7.5 +44, and there is still plenty of room, and my car is dropped pretty low.

for sure i'd get a 43 offset. our car could handle it without any modifications i think. with my fenders rolled in the rear i rode on a 38 offset. probably would fit best if you had a lil bit of stretched tires.

Another vote for the 48. I have TL wheels (45) on my TSX and I wouldn't want anything pushed even further out. I think the 48 offset would be just right.

when i say kicked in, the wheels will not look flush with the fender. they will not look as aggressive as they can without rubbing.

If you're planning to lower your ride later, go with 48. I have wheels 19x8 40 offset on mine. My car is lowered about 2'' and it rubs a lot.

There are also suspension/hub issues with wheels pushed this much further out than OE. It puts too much stress on some items I guess. I've read here (from people who know much more about it than I do) that 42 is about the limit.

Got the wheels, they are 18 x 7.5 with 48 offset. Now tires, size ? 215/45/18 or 235/40/18.

225/40/18 is the ideal size, and it's bigger than the 215/45/18 anyways.

What do you mean by "too small"??

215/50-17 .....4.2in .......12.7in ....25.5in ......80.0in ..............792 ..........0.0% **OEM**
235/40-18 .....3.7in .......12.7in ....25.4in ......79.8in ..............794 ..........-0.2%
215/45-18 .....3.8in .......12.8in ....25.6in ......80.5in ..............787 ..........0.6%
225/40-18 .....3.5in .......12.5in ....25.1in ......78.8in ..............804 ..........-1.5%

If you want make close setting to OEM, then go with 235/40-18 never 215/45-18 since new rims are wider. However, 235/40-18 looks little bit fatty IMO. So 225/40-18 but still just my

I know 235/40/18 looks little bit fatty and I still think 225/40 are small for the TSX. I just order 215/45/18 Pirelli, will see how it goes. Thanks anyway.
