Ingalls rear camber kit question

I lowered my car today with tanabe df210 spring and Ingalls rear camber kit, however, when i picked up my car from the car shop, the mechanic told me he was able to install only one link bar for each rear side.??? When i ordered my Ingalls rear camber, it came with two link bar for Each side, however, this mechanic told me that he was able to install only One bar and second one doesnt FIT for Each rear. ??????

What should i do? how would this effect my car's tire wear and etc......

I could definately see the negative camber in my rear tires, and would getting alignment fix this problem since i have camber??

Thank You in advance....

get a new mechanic... with only 1 bar installed you can align toe, but not camber. regardless, you should have both bars installed since you paid for it. ask him what didn't "fit", the two bars are slightly different, one is longer than the other.

maybe he put the wrong bars on in the wrong place and now the other wont fit where its supposed to because the other is in the wrong place....i would jack it up, take off the tires and see what he did.....its not that difficult to do.....i would say you could put both in yourself in very little time....

I know what he did... he put the wrong heads on the wrong bar. Each Ingalls bar has a specific head that goes on them. So the "not fitting" piece is wrong. He's either lazy or dumb.

Well as of right now, if he only corrected your camber, then you're going to eat through your tires. If he only corrected toe, nothing immediately to worry about.

Simply go back and tell the numbnut to put the correct Ingalls heads on the correct Ingalls shafts, install correctly and realign. I would also tell thank him for the free work too.

you can't do camber w/ just 1 bar, only toe. but I agree, you paid the guy and he did it wrong, he should fix it, don't accept anything less

Sure about that? You can replace just the camber bar or the toe bar.

they're parallel bars, so if you keep 1 fixed, and adjust the other it moves half of the wheel in or out, adjusting toe. if you adjust both bars the same amount, it moves the bottom of the wheel (since the top is fixed) in or out at the same time, adjusting camber.

i believe the way a mechanic is supposed to align w/ the ingalls kit is to adjust both bars until the camber is correct, and then adjust 1 of them to fine tune the toe. i might be wrong, but it made sense to me at least.
