:Help: Which wheels to get?

I recently sold my WedsSport SA-70, so I'm in the market for some new wheels. I got few in my head but if you guys got some crazy ideas then feel free to share with me. I'm going to limit myself not to go too crazy on wheels so my budget is going to be around $2k at the most.
Here are some of the wheels that I have been looking..
19" Volk TE-37 (custom gold)

18" Work VS-XX (silver or gold)

18" Work Emotion CR Kai

19" Buddy Club P1 Racing II

My dream set is Volk TE-37 but they are way too expensive so I might have to pass on that wheels. My friend works at Discount Tire Co. so he said that he can get me brand new 18" Work VS-XX for $530 per wheel. The original price is around $800 so this isn't bad deal at all, but still not sure if I should get VS-XX or not. I was also looking into 19" G-game 77wolf (gold or gunmetal) but they discontinue so I can't get those anymore.

Any suggestion or thought?
thanks,

Tony, I take it that you don't want small, right? I'm in favor of the VOLK TE37 in gold. The 19" is expensive, if you were to go with say the 17" you would save a few bucks, also gain a few benefits, and the car would look great with your drop. But 19" would be a sweet show setup. Anyhow, whatever rim you do choose will look sick on your car. Good luck!

Yeah, I don't want to go anything below 18". Our car is too slow to be a track car so I guess I'm going towards clean look over speed. I really don't mind going with some bigger and heavier wheels, not to heavy though. I appreciate your warm comment.

btw, how's your car coming? I'm still jealous of your CF trunk...

18" Work VS-XX = the village bicycle

18" Work Emotion CR Kai,,,, Beautiful wheel but just about EVERY used set ive seen (i wanted a set) looks like shit because the cheaply made stickers come off even if you take care of them.

How much have you seen those RG2's for? I've been thinking about those rims too.

I like the VS-XX and Emotions CR-Kai's, but it seems that everybody has the VS-XX already. The CR-Kai's are pretty common place as well, not so much in the TSX community, but in the import community itself. What do you think about the Work Emotion XD9's?

My car is eh.. still haven't installed my ingalls etd yet. i'm out of work, dont really have any money for modding. My cf hood stash money is slowly going into the paying bills fund. Next thing i do is raise the car and swap the stock wheels on for winter..

p.s. - there was a black wrx track edition with gold Advan RG II's that use to stop by my old job and that combo was very nice. He was asking me for a place to go to get them powdercoated because he wanted do them in the time attack colors.

Id go with the gold RGIIs if you cant afford the TE37s. The VS-XXs look too small in 18s and Work Emotions are too damn heavy (20+ pounds).

I have a brand new set of silver 18x7.5 +48 Advan RS that should arrive sometime this month. I might be selling them since I already have another set of wheels on order, if your interested let me know. They're in your price range.

Well then I would say the gold RGIIs, you can also get the Work Emotions in gold. Work USA does custom powdercoating and Emotions are fairly cheap and usually in stock as well.

Fxck! That shitty mother fxckers! Argh! they never stop doing shit like that. Don't spend money on paint job bro. Buy wheels you want first and paint the scratch later. You won't be able to see the scratch for a while because of the beauty of your new rims! (I have couple of dents and scratchs but try not to staring at and I start cleaning my new rims' lips to make my feel better )

I probably won't fix it for a while. I already got quoted for $600 so I can fix it anytime I want. My car is dirty as hell so I feel less painful but when I start washing my car again....

I really don't know which wheels to get. If I had the money then I would bought the TE-37's in a heart beat but that's not the case so still deciding.

That f'n blows and I know exactly how you feel...are you getting the whole car repainted or just the keyed area?? I am planning on getting my front-end repainted because of chips...I got a massive 2 inch scrape on my fender from a rock today
