Gunmetal or Black?

Hey guys,

I'm having a lot of trouble deciding between a gunmetal rim or a black rim on my NHBP TSX. I'm afraid that this whole black rim thing is a fad and in a couple years, they will look as ridiculous as spinners do now...

Let me know what you think!

I am in the same situation. I just got my 06 NBP and am trying to decide on black or gunmetel. Like you said, the whole black on black thing is over for the most part. Most black cars with black wheels I see are Mercedes. Thats why I am leaning towards gunmetal.

I've picked what I pretty much want, SSR GT3s but the problem is, I cannot find them in black in a reputable company. I've seen tons of replicas from ADR, Exel, and Damani. Anyone know if these companies are any good? Here's the rim for reference...

ONLY reason I put them in the same thread is because the SSRs do not come in a black rim, only a lighter gunmetal.

I know that they are SSF rims, very high quality...

"SSF" are much higher in quality and also higher in price. What is your price range for rims? Maybe we could help point you into the right way. For example RH always sells pretty affordable rims at a higher quality then those other two. And they make pretty much every rim in black or gunmetal. Both colors are gonna look amazing under the NBP paint, I'd go with black buts thats cause I've owned Gm rims that just weren't dark enough for me.

By SSF I meant semi-solid forging, which is something only SSR is liscensed to do, I was not referring to the company if that is what you meant by the quotes.

My price range is around $2000.00 with tires preferrably.
