You guys should check out the new Toyo Proxes 4. May not be a great snow-handling tire but it's acceptable for an all-season tire. From what I've heard from the Scooby and Evo crowd, they are awesome dry and wet handling tires. Perfect as an all-year, all-season, light snow, and even occasional track tire. Performance is almost as good as dedicated summer tires which is remarkable. Seems to be equivalent or maybe even better in performance to the Bridgestone Potenza RE950 with similar average snow traction except much cheaper. I might try out a set in the spring.

Not available in our 215/50/17 size but you can get it in either 225/45/17 or 235/45/17 for the stock rims without too much speedo discrepancy. I think less than 1 mph deviation so no biggie.

Frisbyracetire.com has them for decent prices. If anyone finds better, please share.

Toyo T1-S has the best combination of performance and value.

Check out this one
It's reasonably priced and I've used them on two of my cars with great results.

You mean Proxes FZ-4...

The T1-S are better but they cost a lot more...

By the way, Toyo is coming up with a replacement to the FZ-4... It should be out or should be out by summer.

Regards

I had a set of Nitto NT450's on my Accord in 17" and loved them. They wore very well and I had no complaints. They are $112 each with free shipping from http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/home.jsp

We do not get much weather in Dallas so I could run them 12 months. I cannot wait for the stock rubber to wear out!

No, I meant what I said. Toyo Proxes 4. It's new and not available everywhere yet. It is the replacement for the FZ-4 with all of Toyo's newest tire technology and better performance than the FZ-4. Check this link: http://www.toyo.com/tires/tire_lines...proxes_4.html#

Of course T1-S is better. It is a dedicated summer tire. But you can't use it all year, so for most of us, Proxes 4 is a great compromise with barely much of a performance hit. It has near-summer tire performance with all-season tire versatility.

Hi tireswap!

I bought a CG-Lock from the apexsecure.net site and it works great! Thanks.

Do you ship tires into Canada?

Yep, works as advertised. Haven't really needed it too much in the TSX but it helped a lot in my Golf.
