Front Strut Bar

Now I have read the other posts, and we have some people with the Comptech, Neuspeed, and Spoon Strut Bars. I am aware that for the Comptech and Spoon you must remove your stock bar to install the new bar. My question is, since the Neuspeed one bolts on over the stock bar, would this in turn be better then the Comptechs or the Spoon because you have 2 bars?

i remember hearing somethin about that in a related thread....i think the answer was no, the neuspeed is just a tie bar, but it gives decent results for the price since the comptech one is so damn expensive.

Spoon is an addition as well, not a replacement.

I thought I remembered reading that there were issues with how the Spoon bar fit. (Clearance, bolt alignment, etc) Granted, memories can be largely inaccurate. Does anyone have the bar or can confirm it’s fit/performance?

I have the bar and it fits. It is a very tight fit, almost a pain to install, and it is really close to the A/C lines on the passenger side of the car. I think that is why people have been complaining or talking about fitment problems. For some it may be too close for comfort, but with a little wiggling and jiggling of the A/C lines, it'll work.

So then I guess Spoon would be the best bang for the buck? CMF can you feel the difference in handling at all?

Honestly, I couldn't tell you how much it changed. I dropped my car, added new wheels and tires, and the strut bar all around the same time, so I felt a big difference, but not because of the strut tower bar. I'd recommend you PM Xizor. He does a lot of driving in autocrossing, so I'm sure he'd be able to tell you more.

it makes steering feel tighter, turn in feels better. It feels nice IMO, but not earth-shattering like the rear sway
