Final Decision, Inspyre's vs. TL A spec

05 TSX, SSM with A spec suspension. My final 2 choices are 18x7.5 +50 RonJon Inspyre's or 18x8 +45 A spec TL wheels in silver sparkle finish. Price is almost identical and i believe the RonJon's are lighter. Tires will be 235/40r18 either way. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

I like the Ron Jon's but the A-Spec's are my favorite wheels period.

I paid about $1050 shipped. If you want the gunmetal or dark chrome they are about $300 more.

correct me if I'm wrong, but those look like they will rub something nasty with a drop or loaded trunk. almost a cm past the fender.

The '05 TL A-Specs won't rub and should be flush with he fender as they are 18X8 +45ET. They would look really nice with a 1 1/2"+ drop.

The old TL A-Specs 18X8.5 +45ET did not fit very well and did stick out.

With that said the fitment on the Inspyres would be better over all. I really do like them a lot...Chris

Ron... you're probably right... The '04 TL A-Specs were 18x8.5" +45mm... and that car is dropped on Eibach Pros.

The '05 TL A-Spec styled wheels are not 8" rather than 8.5", so the fitment should be better.

The dealership where I purchased my TSX had a demo PWP with the OEM body kit and the 17X7 Sparkle Silver A-Specs. They are nice, but look much darker in person than they photograph IMO. The metallic really pops on them and I had a hard time deciding between those and the Silver Stars.

Chris... Between the Silver Stars and A-Specs in 17", I really prefer the Silver Stars. Whereas the Silver Stars seem to appear to be a little bigger than a 17", I think the A-Specs seem to be a little smaller. I do like the the A-Spec styled wheel in an 18" a lot though...

The wheels should be here tomorrow but my suspension/wheel & tire guy is having back problems and i don't know how soon i'll be able to get them installed. Don't worry i'll have pics up once they're on.

I definitely agree that they are darker and more metallic in person than they are in the pics. I can't wait to get them put on.
