Endless Zeal Function-Xs

I just spoke to an authorized endless dealer in MD regarding these coilover but for $2600 for half that amount I could get Tein Flex. What so special about these Function-Xs? If you have the money would you buy these or Teins. I just need a coilover for everyday street use and the Zeal's spring rate are little softer than the Teins which is ideal in my case.

i think their special function is to lighten your wallet. somehow i doubt they do absolutely anything compared to the other more reasonable ones, other than the fact that they are rare and thus jacked up in price.

I don't know much about them, so I'm really in no position to say they're not worth it, but I can't imagine what they could offer that the FLEX doesn't.

I was expecting a somewhat harsh ride with my 14/8 rates on my USDM FLEXes. Upon talking to a tech at Tein, he told me that the CL7 JDM rates of 10/6 were a little soft for the TSX, so they revalved and upped the rates. He assured me the ride would be reasonable. I though he was nuts, but I gave it a shot, and I'm glad I did. He also said it would be possible to switch springs if these didn't work out.

I read somewhere that Endless requires their dealers to install the product-no self install. Was that the case with your dealer? If so, did the $2600 include the install?

If you want softer spring rates, you should look into the Tanabes which are comparable in price to the various Teins.

I don't know about down south but up north here in Canada, road salt will eat up Tein's weld spots pretty quickly (fastest I heard was after 2 winters) and so far I've heard endless weld spots are pretty good against it. Annnnnnnd of course it's JDM bling!!!

IMO, they're overpriced brake pads. I'd go with Hawks HPS (or HP Plus if you want more "bite") and save the money.

I've never purchased Endless suspension products, however, they are proven technology in the JGTC. I run endless pads on my Integra and will get Endless rears for my TSX.

Unless you're gonna be tracking your TSX Teins would more than suffice...
