Well, I can't find a better price b/c no online catalog lists the kit, as stated before. I can confirm that the part number given is the rear end links for a 98-2002 Accord, which should work for our TSX.

no individual markings on the end links, so who knows if you can purchase them seperately. here's a couple pics

Installed the new links today and no more clunking Took me an hour of dremeling to cut off 2 of the end links, one that was attached to the bar and another attached to the bracket, both w/ stripped hex holes.

One change I made was to put a nylon washer between the bar and the nut. One problem I found was that the nut can seize against the bar, so that should help. Also coated the threads with anti-seize.

This is a pic of the end link I removed, you can see all the rust, especially in the threads where the nut goes

^^Seeing those pics just reminds me of the troubles I've had. $70 to do the job Acura didn't think to do (ie a little anti-seize) is an even trade IMO.

xizor, do you have a side by side comparison pic of the old and new links? If possible, could you measure the dia of the new link?

Emotions can run high when you're trying to get your nuts off.

Out of curiosity, does thicker links have any effect on handling or anything?

I installed the A-Spec suspension this past weekend. One of the bolts seized on me. The dealership couldn't budge it. They want to charge me $300 to replace them with new.

I guess I'll order the ones Xizor got and try to have a local muffler shop cut off the old ones. Kinda frustrating... (Once one side seized, I was able to replace the shock/strut on the other side without removing it. Didn't want to risk it.)

I don't think its really affected anything so far. also, you don't need to remove the end links to install a new suspension, it just makes it easier.

Wasn't easy though. I unbolted a few other things and really had to twist it to get it out.

A-spec suspension install ended up being pretty easy though. Outside of the rusted endlink bolts, the rest went very very quickly.

The clunking noise is quite maddening though. =) Finally fixed the Comptech swaybar bushing issue a month ago, to fix that clunking, now back to this! Oh well, definitely drives a lot better, and feels how it should have been from the factory.

As a slight tangent, if I had all the endlink bolts cut off, would it be safe to drive the car a couple miles to get it home?

Or would the sway bar flop around?

i don't think its a good idea to have an unlinked bar in there, when I cut off my bolts I took the bar entirely out and drove w/o a swaybar for a couple of days till the new ones arrived, talk about body roll!

^^Agree. Though the sway bar won't rotate completely down, it is possible for it roll down enough to catch something.

Yeah, remove the bar. Its rather interesting going from NO bar (0mm) to a Comptech bar (22mm). LOL...

Probably the smartest thing to do... but, =)

what if ziptied it up? As long as it doesn't fall down, probably ok.

When I do it, I'll take a picture of the rust forming on the bar. Not too happy about it, and curious if others are experiencing the same.

Received the new endlinks today.

It only came with 2 locking nuts. Isn't that strange? Don't you need locking nuts for all 4 bolts? And which end should the locking nuts go on?

Seems odd...

Were they all locking nuts?

I have extra hex nuts, but they're not locking nuts.

For anyone who's interested, and is thinking of ordering this, some of the kits come with 2 nuts, some with 4. (even though the kit has the same part #.)

This is what the guy at the Honda counter said. It was nice; they gave me the other 2 for free. Don't get much for free at a dealership.

(I'll try to take a comparison pic of the 2 different endlinks when I swap them out,,, hopefully tomorrow.)

If your car is still under warranty, the dealership should replace the endlinks for you. They replaced my rear left one for me couple months back, and I can tell the new endlink is significantly thicker than the original tsx endlink. Will thicker endlink help handling by any chance?

Adjustable end links

Just received a set today. Here are some pics for comparison. These have 10mm mounting holes just like the stock units for a direct fit. They use a right and left hand threaded turnbuckle for adjustments. The shaft is slightly thicker than the stock link but not by much. I guess the plus side is no more hex key for tightening or removal. They are not installed on the car yet because I need to get some bolts first.

I just installed a set of these on a friend's RSX last week, so far he says there's no clunking or negatives...since they're adjustable length, they'd probably fit our application too...but they are rather pricey.

Hey JTso,

Do you still have those endlinks on the car?

How are they? Do they supply all the bolts/nuts needed for installation or do I need to buy some? (since you mentioned you needed to buy some nuts to before installing them)

Would you recommend those? THey are almost as pricy as OEM ones here in Canada. So, I am considering those.

I also found a endlink (OEM) made by OEQ. Their part number was L1030-142492. THey only had ones for left side. Are left/right identical? Are these, L1030-142492 and 52320-SDR-003, the same things?
