Dropped with new springs and shocks

Got my Tokico Hp Blue shocks and Tien S springs instilled

Was opening the car up and guess what my passenger front shock was leaking, so im guessing it’s BLOWN WTF I only have 15 k miles on my 07

Ride Height-
Not that low at all I still make it over most dips and bumps maybe when I get my OEM Front lip it will be worst

Ride Quality-
Ride is bumpier and more bouncy but not too bad is this normal?

Ride Performance –
Can take turns with more confidence less body roll

hey, i have the exact same setup. Had it for about a month now. To answer your questions about it being bumpier, check out my review on this suspension setup in the tires wheels suspension forum. Basically whats happening is you've stiffened the shocks as well as the springs. This makes the ride feel a bit bouncy but if you also notice, it makes it ALOT more solid feeling. This is normal. I've gotten a decent amount of mileage on this setup now and it has became a hair less bouncy. I love it.
Only problem I feel is that the springs are not stiff enough but then again the springs were designed to lower the car with as little compromise to ride quality. Me personally want more spring rate but i'll save up for coilovers farther down the road. right now the ride is perfect for what i use the car for.

^ don't forget that it takes a few days for the new suspension setup to "settle" in

I'm currently dropped on Tein H Tech (1.1 front and .07 rear) on stock strut and now it's starting to bounce around Im thinking of getting Tokicos as well but I dont want it to bounce more could be be like ivcurvs mentioned that Teins make soft springs and it's probably not the best match with tokico?

Tokico set up?

Hey Acurazine,

I am a new member to this forum; I have done a lot of reading, and searching. I just bought my first car a 2005 PWP TSX, and I am in love with it. I have done a couple modifications from stock, nothing major. I have changed the OEM pedals to the racing pedals and also black calipers with the decals, and new 6x9’s. My question is directed to Gamblez & lvcurvs, I bought a set of lowering springs (RS-R) Sport Springs and the drop claims to be 1.6in in the front, and 1.2in in the back. However reading the comments about OEM shocks and struts, I decided to buy a set of Tokico HP blue shocks and struts. I would like a picture request regarding anything similar to this set up, and any further comments on the ride and the handling. Is my car going to be really low? and bouncy?

not really low. it's a comfortable drop. It'll make your stock sized tires and wheels fill up the wheel well more with out "tucking" them. As far as bouncy, any stiffer mod to the struts or springs is going to increase that feeling. The biggest thing is that you hit a bump, bounce then settle. no hit a bump, bounce bounce bounce then settle. If that makes sense. It's actually a real comfy. ride even fully loaded with 4 people and luggage. Personally i'm thinking about going to the eibach sportline springs but i'm not tu sure about the drop it gives. May be too low for what I want. What are the spring rates on the rs-r springs? Like i mentioned before. the Tein's are a soft spring, I believe it's only a 10% increase in spring rates from stock. I'll get picts up today. They may be kind of crappy as they'll be from my cell phone but i'll do my best.
