DC5R vs Euro-R wheels

What's the difference in the wheels besides the offset. I want a set for my RSX, but not sure what would make it so different. I saw these auctions, and if there is no difference besides the offset, I'll get the Euro R ones and save 300 bucks.
Anyone have an idea?

I'll take the Euro-R wheels and save some money. It also has a better offset than the DC5.

I believe with the DC5R wheels I would need a 10mm spacer, so since the difference in wheel offset is 5mm, I guess that means I only need a 5mm spacer then? I guess it sounds like basic math, but I'd rather be sure, especially since figuring out a wheels offset is not my specialty.

The Euro-R rims are a bit darker in person than those pictures show. That particular set is Kaiser Silver, which is kind of like gunmetal. The DC5 rims are brighter; more like our factory rims.

Also, the DC5 rims are slightly "thicker" in the hub area, although you'd be hard pressed to ever notice unless they were side by side.

He's probably discounting the Euro-R rims because of the scratch on one of them. He was listing pics of the scratch in previous atttempts to sell them; now he just mentions it in the ad.

Thanks! I see what you are saying now about the styling. I mailed him about the scatches, he said nothing noticeable and can be buffed out. Don't guess you saw the pics before, did you?

I did see the pics, and I was trying to find the old listing but it seems to be gone. I bet if you e-mailed him he could send them to you. He actaully had very high resolution shots posted, and you could plainly see it in the pic, but standing a couple feet away you probably wouldn't notice.....

I believe that is correct. I haven't seen white Euro-R wheels.

ok i m gona use ur post as a back up to my theory..
u guys remember the honda accord cm that someone posted?

i mentioned that it's prob not euroR, tho it has same style rims and grille
i think ti's like a sport pak or something that we don't know about, cause
it's got the euroR grille - euroR badging.. and these silver colour rims...

CM is the term japense use for tv spots..

i've notice this one couple months ago and someone posted it last month
it showed an accord running in open road..

if think search, euror+commerical it's gona show up, anyways... it was an
accord with type s grille / euroR like (the one shown in tis thread) but
no where on the car had euroR badge.. not in the front, or back.

so i was wondering maybe ti's a sport pak the ppl can get. since u can get
modulo suspension kits etc.. maybe u can get those silver R like rim.... but
the gunmetal ones are reserved for the real R. hope this clears it up

There seems to be a lot of different models in the lineup. This one has the Euro R kit but not the grill. The wheels are very close to the R, look like 17"s, but are def Silver.
