Hi, I was quoted a ridiculous price of $1230 for Tein Basics and Ingalls rear camber kit installed... could anyone from the bay area recommend a shop that is not such a rip off? thanks

lol.. oops yes it does... and an alignment afterwards
but knowing that I could get the teins for roughly 700 and the ingalls for about 150 i just dont see how installation + alignment would cost 380

Alignment may run you about $70; depending on where you go. Or you could opt for lifetime alignment which ofcourse would be more (and if the alignment place even offers it...sometimes you'd just have to ask). So if you figure $310 for install, that's quite pricey. My Acura dealer charges $110 for diagnostic alone. Who's quoting you $1230?

They are a very good, shop, and know what they are doing.

the 310 dollars for install and alignment is not a bad deal. Figure 70-100 for the alignment. and that is about 210 to do the install, which is a fair deal.

Most shops charge between 60-80 an hour, figure average is 70 so they have it figured that it will take them 3 hours to do the install. Which is about right. Since you have to dissasemble the OEM unit to get the top hat off.

But again auto innovations is a quality shop that does work on alot of race cars.

Wow... I drove to Mission Viejo, CA from Las Vegas to get my Tein Basic installed by Marcus of Heeltoe Automotive for almost half that price.
