Any ideals/comments on this tire swap?
I am giving some thought to replacing the OEM tires with the following Yokohama Avid V4s:
P215/50R17 93V in front
P225/55R17 95H in rear (oversized)
Note:
93 is 1433 lbs.
95 is 1521 lbs.
H is 130 MPH
V is 149 MPH
The objective is to improve cornering and reduce understeer. The Yokohama tires might also make less road noise. I need A/S tires.
A lot of the TSX owner's don't seem to like the stock tires. But, there doesn't seem to be a lot of choices it the P215/50R17 size that carry a 93V Service Description.
I generally do not drive over 80 MPH, but I do want the best cornering that I can get at reasonable cost; in both dollars and harshness.
I may very well replace the rear sway bar with a CompuTech before doing anything with the tires. I would first want to evaluate the difference that a larger rear sway bar would make. Then, step 2 would be to swap the tires.

My initial post on my Avid V4S set.
Do NOT stagger your sizes. Your wheels are the same size, and you'll want to be able to rotate them about every 7k miles (otherwise you're an idiot that can't keep any life in his tread, which will effect your grip...especially in a FWD car that will eat up your front tires without rotating).
Mine are 215/50/17 93V at every corner. I now have 13000 miles on the car and still love the rubber. I also have a Comptech sway installed. I would recommend having better tires before installing the sway (though don't wait long if you really want to have fun). You won't be able to fully appreciate the sway without getting rid of those crappy sidewalls. Do this properly with tires and the bar, and you'll love your car like never before.

Thanks, fellows, for the feedback and the advice. It is much appreciated for you saved me some money.

The idea was to have taller tires -- given the higher profile. But, the increased width and the higher profile may effectively cancel each other out.
