What are you looking at spending. The Volk's and SSR's are amazing wheels, but will set you back ~$1800 to $2000. I really like the 5Zigen FN01R-C. It's my second plug today for these wheels, but that's what I would get.

Im looking for a cheap plain old black rim..either gloss/hyper etc..but just black.. i dont want to see any colored writing on the rim..maybe if the writing was in red... in the price range of $600 to $800

I like those as well, but in a 17, they just don't have enough presence. I like 'em in an 18s though...and I believe theyre still pretty lightweight in 18s.

Probably not, but what should you expect from $150 rims?

it really depends...personally, i won't trust Rota. I heard they bend and other bad things about them, even for daily driving. Well, it also depends how bad your roads are. IMO, i would go with something nicer, TSX is a nice car, why go cheap rims? I rather pay a little more for a set of safer rims..

Its not for show...just somethin lighter than the stock rims and not costly..something that i'll use for track (1/4 Mile) or just daily driving (until i get the rims i really want!). But right now i just want them to be all black with no chrome lip!

I know that certain rota's have had problems, but there are a ton of rota's that I would consider to be good quality. The rota P45F seems like a pretty good wheel. I think it's newer to their lineup, and I really like the black w/ red lip.

Also the rota torque is pretty popular w/ subaru guys.
