+48 Offset Question

+48 Offset Question

will this offset make the wheel stick out further than the side of the car??

I have 18 X 8 +48 w/ 225 tires and they are flush to the top of the wheel well. They stick out a little at the bottoms becuase I don't have a body kit yet.

one more thing. If i was to lower my car lets say 1.4 inches in the front and 1.6 in the rear would that offset and tire rub the fender in any way?

i dont think it will rub since the rims are only 7" wide....i got 19x8 with 235 and they sit pretty good inside the fender with about a 2" drop....

I have 19x8 +45 w/ 235 tires on it....no rub at all.
And it is lower as well

I have 18x8's 49 et and 235/40's. 1.2in drop. Sits flush up front and a lil inside in the rear. No rubbin

Thanks for all the help. I got a set of ADR Battle EXE 18.75 +48 offset off of eBay new for 338.00. can't wait to get them and put them on but now i have to figure out what tire to put on it.

I've seen a few different sellers selling those wheels.

Some of them have an offset of 42 (not 48). Anybody know how much difference it would make (on a stock TSX)?
